99% completed.. PROJECT BIKE!! Cafe racer
A wee project I started on the 1st lockdown but have kind of lost interest in. I always bought it with the intention to sell it, it was simply something to keep me busy during lockdown.
What’s done:
- Subframe chopped and new one welded and painted.
- Tank and new Ducati imola tail peace painted in classic mini British racing green
- Wheels painted gloss black
- some parts of the engine sanded down to look a bit more trick.
- Drop bars fitted
- New headlight
- New black leather seat
- 4 new air filter pods fitted
What needs finished:
- Tail peace bolted on to subframe and seat fitted
- Headlight wired
- Speedo wired, I haven’t bought one yet but have the standard clocks there
- Tail light needs wired which I have there
That’s it really. I was very particular about what angle I wanted the subframe and I think it’s turned out great. It will be a real eye catcher.
