1938 Triumph Speed Twin 500cc In the correct amaranth red colour scheme. This rare and lovely speed twin was restored in the 1980’s and the last owner has had it for 30 years or more. At some point in the distant past the engine was replaced with a more reliable 39 unit which if you look closely has one broken fin , hence low price.
It comes with its old card Reg document and current V5C and original registration number. It now looks lovely with 30 plus years of patina which definitely suits its prewar age. Starts easily and sounds and runs very well. These prewar Speed Twins are easy to handle with low seat height and easy to live with and don’t come up for sale very often , so will be a sound investment .
