I imported this extremely rare car from Japan for my own collection in 2017. Only one owner since import. 4 wheel drive Starlet Turbos simply never come up for sale, never mind in red! Easily converted to rear wheel drive like my grey one. For those who don’t appreciate how special or rare this car really is, then this probably isn’t the car for you!

The car is in outstanding condition throughout.

Excellent shell. Tidy, dent free bodywork. Never crashed or repaired. All original spot welds present.

Although already red when imported, the car has recently undergone a full professional respray including inside the boot well, behind the wings etc. The finish is to a very high standard. Extensive work was carried out to preserve this fantastic car well into the future… waxoil treatment underneath (NOT schultz, simply a rust protectant), cavity wax behind rear interior quarter cards to prevent rust on sills from inside (This is the most common area for Starlets to rust and is not visible from outside because of the mouldings). This car has had everything it needs and is built to last the test of time.

Very good, strong and healthy engine. Pulls strong with no smoke from cold or on boost. Always warmed up and cooled down.

Gearbox is perfect and is silky smooth through all the gears. Front and rear diffs both working perfectly. The car has insanely good traction and grip! Very fast and literally sticks to the road!

Very good interior. All seats are clean and bolsters etc are firm. No wear on seats, floor carpet or steering wheel etc.

When I bought this car in Japan, there was mention of a built engine and high lift cams etc on the translated sales sheet. I have never had the engine apart to check the spec of the engine, so the internal work I do not know exactly, but it’s possible and highly likely it is forged when you see the extent of work and other modifications done to this car.
