Last week there were just over 7000 signatures but since I and others have been sharing it everywhere, today the number is over 45,000 thanks to people caring and sharing. The government responds to petitions over 10,000 signatures but even better for 100,000 signatures the petition will be considered for debate in Parliament. Dog theft is massively on the increase with thieves punching dog walkers to the ground to snatch their dog, breaking into homes to take dogs and snatching them from gardens. Thieves driving unmarked vans stopping to ask directions then accosting the dog walker and snatching their dog. No one is safe. It could happen to you, your parents or grandparents, anyone owning a dog. Gangs of vicious dog thieves are everywhere, holding dogs for ransom, decapitating dogs of people that can't pay thousands of pounds for the return of their dog, it's despicable and heartbreaking and they are getting away with it.
