1999 Mitsubishi Canter GUTS - Unusual and quite rare model in Ireland!
Imported from Japan in 2003.
2.8L direct injection diesel, chain driven, Pajero engine, non-turbo, only 178k KM! PWO.
5spd manual Pajero gearbox, PWO. Clutch(Pajero) PWO.
Dual rear wheel, RWD - Drivetrain & rear differential, new universal joints, PWO.
A/C, has leak, compressor is working.
Electric windows, pass side not working.
CD player. Very clean interior, no rips in seats.
Good tyres X 6 70-75% thread, (4 X rear tyres, new last year), plus v.good thread on full size spare.
New front brake pads, pass side front shock and wheel bearings last year. New custom made full exhaust a few years back, from manifold back, PWO.
Battery, good condition and strong.
Box: Aluminium sided/roofed, ply interior walls and wood floor; dimensions: 10'L X 5.6'W X 7'H with 50/50 rear wood barn doors. Needs sealing and new door seals. You can fit a lot into this space.

Bad bits, but repairable.
Flywheel is missing few teeth, so occasionally it makes a noise starting, it does start. I will post a video on YouTube of it running, in a few days, please message me for the link.
Chassis has rust in places, it is solid but will require work at some point in the near future.
Cab underneath has 3/4 rust holes/spots, over the wheels, where it acts as a mud guard for the front wheels, this is common with Canters and will need to be repaired, access is good as the cab tips forward, this has alway been handy for maintenance.

I have owned this van since 2004 (15 years) and have all receipts for parts and work carried out on it. I took it off the road last August when the CVRT expired (08/18) as I was no longer using it for work. I have serviced it regularly, oil and filters, greasing, tyres, bushings etc...

It could be converted into a mobile catering/coffee vehicle, used somewhere off road or as a donor vehicle.
