Took in as part exchange. A bit of a barn find. I had a 400cc scooter for sale.
The owner had this locked away in shed with bad health.
He still wanted to bike but the triumph was to heavy.
So I took this as a part exchange.
A triumph 955i RS. It is moted till feb next year.
Starts and runs great. New chain and sprockets for mot.
But has a few issues.
1. Relay for headlight not working. £5
2.no speedo £30 off Ebay
3. Bit of an oil leak from the clutch arm. Either a runner seal or buy a complete cover off eBay £30.
All of the above is an easy fix. If doesn’t sell I will fix an relist but have more bikes due in next week.
I have took it a run and rides really well lovely power delivery. Smooth and revs clean through all the gears.
So there we have it. A good touring bike for someone.
