Hi folks, just passing on some information so that the same issue I have just found doesn't occur to anyone else.
I bought a set of brand new diamond cut M5 style alloys off CM Wheels back in June 2020 (7 months old) and the lacquer is now starting to peel away on all wheels. They had said this is to do with the chemicals in the car wash however my partner's car also has diamond cut alloys and is washed in the same garage and this has not occurred to hers and these were not bought off CM Wheels.
I am also led to believe that can be common in diamond cut wheels but when I went back to the CM Wheels, I was told my wheels are out of warranty and they only forwarded me on a number of a company who can repair the wheels at my own cost. I now have a set of wheels that cost €800+ and after 7 months they look a shambles.
Just letting people know folks.
