So time has come to advertise my pride and joy. I owned the car for nearly 5 years now. Bought it completely standard, it was owned by 2 careful lady owners before me. It’s been in a heated garage last 3 years as I’ve been out of the country. Was brought out 10-12 times to keep the cobwebs off her! I had this car at 2 car shows, Dubshed 2016 that it won best in its class and then also Autoheroes in 2015 which it won best European car of the show.
The condition of this car is next to mint and ill stand by that, anyone who knows the car will know. I took out all arch liners and cleaned thoroughly before putting into storage. There are some stone chips on the bonnet as to be expected. I used this as an everyday car.
Only thing with the car is there is one small small bubble coming on the rear spoiler. Engine light is on since I de-cated it. Airbag light is on because of Momo steering wheel. The camber will have to taken out for test and standard wheels back on. I really think it will pass NCT then, as it’s a very tight car.
The car hasn’t been in test since April 2016 but I’m willing to pay for the engineers report (300euro) if I find a buyer. Reason it needs an engineer report is for the Air suspension set up as it was fitted while it was in test. If my price isn’t met by mid December then I will be putting it back to standard and selling off the parts.
The car is incredibly fun to drive with it being 125BHP and so light, does 0-60 in less than 8 seconds. The 280MM Momo wheel really makes it feel like your driving a go kart! I have all the standard parts, 15” Bathurst alloys, suspension etc included in the price.
It’s genuinely hard to come to terms of selling it but just bought another VW and have plans for a campervan. They say this car is going to be like the Mk1 GTI Golf in years to come, do your research. Definitely not many left in this condition. Car is still as clean as it looks in the pictures. Good time to buy and put your twist on it for next show season.
