Hi, I'm selling my 1998 Cl 500. Little over 111000 miles on the clock. Bought it in 2015 , I'm the fourth owner.
The VIN is WDB1400702A432550. Car comes with:
Full leather interior, parktronic system,heated front seats, auto dipping inside and driver rear view mirrors, wood steering wheel and selector level, electric sliding roof, roller blind, cruise control, AMG monoblock wheels, soft-close system.
The engine, transmission are working great. The same goes for the soft close / vacuum system and the parktronic system.
During the 7 years I've put my heart,time and work into keeping it in good condition as i enjoy driving it and looking at it very much.
Beside standard service including engine, transmission and differential oil change,new spark plugs and filters i've fixed some minor problems like vacuum system, gas pump, rear headrests and seat heating. There are new shock absorbers in the back, new bearing in the left rear, new driveshaft and transmission rubber mount. Took it to the chassis dynamometer to check the torque and HP. Resulted in over 184 HP which is great for a 23 year old car.
I also delt with bigger issues like renovating the interior and keeeping it in great condition, renovating the rims and the car's paint. There have been few rust spots, discolorations and scratches so the car got a new paintjob and the rust spots have been fixed. I have photos of the whole process.
There are some minor things that came up recently that I didn't have time to fix:
Front right headlamp washing pump needs replacement
Windows need adjusting and their guides need greasing
Radio needs looking into
Unfortunately someone scratched the paint off the front bumper on the parking (photo). The bumper itself is not cracked.
The car has a AMG emblem. It was there when I got it and i left it since it referes to the AMG monoblock wheels .
I sell the car with with:
- extra set of winter tyres. Summer and winter are new and have a lot of tread
- two sets of floor mats. Black and beige (made custom for me)
- set of front headlights glass for the left-hand drive
- an extra engine for the vacuum pump
