MK2 Golf TD for swap or p/x for a speedboat
No tax or NCT as I have had it stored since the day after he VAGE show in Fermoy in 2013! Was serviced and prepped for NCT last July but never got the time to do it!
I have owned this since 2012
The car started life as a 1.3 comfort line it is now a 1.9 TD with an AAZ engine. It is legally registers as a 1.9 as well with the report done and it’s 1.9 on the book now!
112,000 miles on the car
Engine came from a German car with 147,000km (there is about 92,000 miles on the engine)
Full major service including: timing belt, water pump, all fluids, brakes and gear linkages done in July!
-Original calypso green paint has never been resprayed
-Jetta arches and trim
-Full Gti interior with black headliner
-Straight through exhaust (not too tractor like but has a beautiful turbo spool)
-MOMO Deep dish steering wheel
-15inch brand new BBS Rs (replicas) these wheels have covered 78 miles exactly!
-Smoked cross hair headlights (have original standard headlight somewhere in the shed)
-Euro style 50/50 tail lights (have original smoked Gti tail lights also)
-Genuine Wolfsburg side indicator blanks
-German style plates
-lowered on adjustable Coilovers so the ride is rough as a dogs bolox on crap roads(looks good though I suppose)
-shims on the rear to add a slight amount of camber
Bad points:
The car had been parked up for a couple of years as I was living abroad as a result - the indicators are not working. I don’t know it it’s a wire, fuse or corroded connection but it won’t be a big job
- the rear drivers side door isn’t opening! A bit of WD40 would sort it if you knew how to take a door card off on a closed door without wrecking it!
- There is a blemish in the paint on the bottom corner of the drivers door about the size of a €50 note (can be seen in pics) and a small mark on the front wing but not noticeable unless you’re looking for it!
